About Us
LOCt was established in 2020 by Lady Alyse, a skilled Dreadlock artist with over 20 years of experience. Based in New Plymouth, Taranaki. LOCt specialises in natural crochet dreadlocks, maintenance, extensions and professional dreadlock training. Our dreadlocks are created by hand using a crochet hook - no wax, or chemicals. Just skill, experience and a genuine passion for the craft.

Natural Dreadlocks
Start your dreadlock journey or refresh your existing locs. We use a gentle crochet technique, without the use of wax or chemicals.
Extensions + Extenders
Get your dream LOCt length and volume with a choice of permanent and temporary dreadlock extensions, using human or synthetic hair.
Beyond ordinary hair
Something dreadfully good is coming. Our collection of dreadlock accessories and hair care essentials will be available soon.
